  • 'CUT ABOVE THE REST' ISSUE: 31
    Was released on the 1/03/99, Brian Connolly Memorial special issue, covered the Brian Connolly 'Tribute concert' held at the Camden Palace, London, 8/11/98 which featured Andy Scott and Steve Priest live on stage. Contains plenty of press reproductions, as well as a rundown on all the latest official and bootleg Sweet releases.

  • 'CUT ABOVE THE REST' ISSUE: 32
    Was released on the 1/08/99, this issue included extracts taken from Andy Scott's and Mick Tucker's personal tour diaries, also features a Mick Tucker interview as well all the regular fanzine features. It also included an article covering the numerous informative Sweet internet web sites!

  • 'CUT ABOVE THE REST' ISSUE: 33
    Was released on the 12/12/99, special issue reporting on the hard rock, London, Brian Connolly tribute show 5/10/99. The issue includes reports, reviews and photographs on this unique and special event which also featured Steve Priest. It also included reports on the 2nd British Sweet convention held in Bilston 18/09/99.

    Was released on the 1/10/00, special issue dedicated to the 1980's. This issue comprises of material covering different versions of the Sweet that toured, recorded through this decade. Contains plenty of press reproductions!

    Was released on the 25/03/01, special issue dedicated to the Andy Scott `Unplugged' shows performed in Devizes, Wiltshire. The issue includes reports, reviews and photographs on this unique and special event. It also included all the latest sweet news and regular fanzine features such as new Sweet CD releases, as well as Mick Tucker and Brian Connolly archive press articles etc.

    Was released on the 1/10/01, includes a `Special 16 page Sweet LP review supplement', (which consists of reprints of archive music press articles,) as well a 4 page report on Sweet drummer Mick Tucker.

    Was released on the 1/03/02, this special issue is dedicated to Sweet drummer - Mick Tucker's death. The tribute issue includes photographs, press & media articles dedicated to the `Dark Drum Destroyer’. It also includes a report about the funeral as well as a reprint of the Nicky Chinn church memorial speech.

    Issue 39 dated 21st September 2002 included all the latest Sweet news, reports on Andy Scott's 2nd live acoustic Devizes show, reviews of the bands latest `Sweetlife' CD, Mick Tucker poems, archive Sweet music press articles, and much, much more.

    Issue number 40 released on the 1st of may 2003 was the first issue to include 40 pages instead of the normal 32 as a special treat to all the fans who had supported the fanzine for all these years! It included all the latest Sweet news, reports on Andy Scott's Sweet live German and Bilston shows, 7 page classic rock magazine sweet special reprint, reviews on the `Sweet's British Geordie scene 1974 television appearance, short BC encore guitarist Brian Willoughby interview, difficult Sweet crossword, archive Sweet music press articles, and much, much more
